Mayowa “MJ Praise” Oyinloyeye is a UK-based gospel singer, songwriter, worship leader, and community advocate whose music carries a message of hope, healing, and faith. Leading choirs, gospel bands, and children’s music groups within the Church of England, MJ Praise combines powerful vocals with a heartfelt mission to inspire and uplift.
As the founder of LET LOOSE CIC, an annual free outdoor concert for survivors of abuse, she uses music as a platform for restoration and unity. Her work has reached national prominence, with performances attended by local dignitaries, the Mayor, and even members of the Royal Family. Notably, her song “One Voice” was performed in honour of King Charles and Camilla.
Her discography includes uplifting tracks such as I Will Stand, Testimonial Praise, What Shall I Render, and Hear My Prayer. Her commitment to excellence has earned her accolades including the Pride in Medway Award and Most Influential Woman of the Year.
A survivor of childhood abuse herself, MJ Praise’s testimony infuses every lyric with authenticity. Beyond the stage, she engages in creative outreach, from busking on UK streets to performing across Africa—not for financial gain, but to spread the message of God’s love.
